Data Ownership

By partnering with WInsights, districts can integrate data from SIS and statewide/local assessments into our dashboards while retaining ownership of primary-source data. Our dashboards empower educators with real-time comparisons, helping them to visualize progress toward school-wide initiatives and district goals.

WInsights is a consortium driven by the experiences of our member districts. By joining WInsights, districts gain access to a dedicated community of educators and administrators working toward a shared goal of improving student learning outcomes through innovative data dashboards.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) About Joining the WInsights Consortium

  • Fill out the WInsights Membership Application form, or reach out to our team using the Contact Us page.

  • WInsights pools financial and staff resources to provide a comprehensive data warehouse and dashboard system to districts across Wisconsin, and can maintain, and even lower costs annually.

    Membership types include:

    • Full Member: Full service dashboard and data warehouse. This offers the most flexible, customizable, and connected option.

      • Small districts - $4/student, no implementation fee

      • Large districts - $3/student and $5,000 base fee, no implementation fee

    • Planning Member: The full planning membership fee rolls into and applies to your next full membership year - up to 12 months available.

      • All districts - $1.50/student for up to a maximum of 12 planning months.

  • Members receive more than just a product, they access a committed community. In addition to full service, customizable data dahboards and data warehouse, WInsights provides all members with ongiong support, professional development opportunities, and access to a statewide collaboartion network.

    WInsights is member led and member responsive. We innovate to serve the needs of students and educators in Wisconsin. All Winsights members have the opportunity to set development priorities and guide the vision of our consortium.
